Description
Technical Field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of watchmaking. It relates, more particularly, a device for attaching a bracelet to a watch case, this device for removing the bracelet from the housing without the use of any tool.
State of the art [0002] The document EP 1 128 237 describes a device for fixing a bracelet to a watch case of the type mentioned above. This fixing device comprises an end link of the bracelet which is arranged to fit between the horns that includes the watch case, and to lock in the mounted position. For this purpose, the inner faces of the horns each comprise a groove extending from the underside of the horn and ending without opening on the upper face. The terminal link has ribs projecting from its lateral sides, these ribs being arranged to slide in said grooves.
In order to lock the terminal link on the watch case, the link comprises a housing in which a locking flap is pivoted about an axis extending between the lateral sides of the link. This flap, which is arranged to be manipulated by the wearer, comprises a lug which cooperates with a locking surface provided in the wall of the watch case located between the horns. The flap is subjected to a restoring force provided by a coil spring which surrounds the axis of the flap, and which tends to maintain the lug in contact with the locking surface.
In order to release the bracelet, simply push the end of the locking flap in the opposite direction to the watch case so that the lug is away from the locking surface. The end link can thus be slid down to separate it from the watch case.
However, this arrangement has several disadvantages. Firstly, the flap leaves visible the coil spring, and exposes it to dirt (fibers, fluff, dust, hair, grease, skin particles, etc.) that can be housed in the terminal link and which are difficult to remove. The visibility of the system on the link, even if it is hidden from the wear, damages the aesthetics of the bracelet, especially for women's pieces, where purer lines are preferred.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a fixing device wherein the aforementioned defects are at least partially overcome.
Disclosure of the Invention [0007] More specifically, the invention relates to a device for attaching a bracelet to a watch case, as defined in the independent claim.
This device comprises a connecting element arranged to be attached on the one hand to at least a portion of the bracelet such as a strand or an adjacent link, and secondly to a watch case. The connecting element is arranged to fit between two horns that comprises said watch case, by sliding ribs that comprise the lateral faces of the connecting element, in complementary-shaped slides formed in the internal faces of said horns. .
The connecting element comprises a housing containing a locking lever pivoted about a geometric axis of rotation which intersects said lateral faces of the connecting element. The locking lever comprises a locking pin arranged to cooperate in the operating position with a locking surface that comprises a side face of said watch case which extends between said horns. The locking lever is also subjected to a restoring force tending to rotate it so that said pin cooperates with said surface.
According to the invention, the fixing device further comprises a pusher arranged at least partially in said housing so that it can cooperate with said locking lever to rotate the latter by pressing on the pusher and thus to separate said locking pin from said locking surface. The pusher intrinsically allows to close at least partially the housing, which limits the entry of dirt into the housing relative to the arrangement of the prior art mentioned above.
Advantageously, said locking lever comprises at least one finger on which said pusher is arranged to support. This arrangement represents a particularly compact way of converting a linear displacement of the pusher into a rotation of the locking lever.
Advantageously, said pusher is slidably mounted in said housing, this sliding being such that the pusher is closer to the axis of rotation of said locking lever when actuated. Since the axis of rotation of the lever and the direction of sliding of the pusher are thus aligned, the system can be relatively compact.
Advantageously, the device further comprises at least one stud or a screw, ideally two, integral with said pusher, the head of the stud or the screw taking place in a slot provided in said connecting element and extending substantially in parallel. to the sliding direction of said pusher. These simple assembly and guiding means also make it possible to determine the extreme positions of the pusher, and in the case of screws, make it possible to mount and dismantle the device easily.
Advantageously, the sliding direction of said pusher is parallel to the sliding direction of the connecting element between the horns of the watch case. In doing so, the user applies a force in a direction parallel to the direction of removal of the connecting element. This solution is particularly ergonomic, since no oblique force to the direction of removal of the connecting element should be applied.
Advantageously, said pusher closes said housing on its open face intended to be located opposite the wearer's arm, which prevents the maximum entry of dirt into the housing.
Furthermore, the invention also relates to a bracelet comprising a device as described above, on a watch case comprising such a device, and a timepiece including such a watch case.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Further details of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, made with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective of a fastening device according to the invention; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the fixing device of FIG. 1, in assembled condition; Fig. 3 is a partial sectional view of a timepiece comprising a fastening device according to the invention with pushed push-button, the section passing through the median line of said device; Fig. 4 is a view similar to that of FIG. 3, the fixing device being in the service position.
Embodiment of the Invention [0018] FIGS. 1 to 4 illustrate a device 1 for attaching a bracelet 3 to a watch case 5 of a timepiece. This device comprises a connecting element 7, which serves in practice as a terminal link of the bracelet 3 in the case where the latter is metallic. However, the connecting element 7 is also compatible with soft bracelets, leather, plastic or any other material. In this case, it makes it possible to make the connection between a strand of the bracelet and the watch case 5. In the illustrated embodiment, the bracelet 3 is attached to the connecting element 7 by means of a pin of fixing 6 (see Fig. 3 and 4).
The connecting element 7 is of elongated shape in a direction transverse to the bracelet 3, and has ribs 9 extending projecting from its side faces 10 (considered with respect to the axis of the bracelet 3). These lateral faces 10 are intended to be facing the internal faces of the horns of the watch case in the service position. These ribs 9 are complementary in shape to the slides (not visible) formed by grooves provided in the horns (not visible) of the watch case 5, which extend from the underside of the element 7 and end without lead to the upper face. The ribs 9 and the slides extend in the direction of sliding of the connecting element 7 in the watch case. It goes without saying that the positions of the slides and ribs can be reversed, and that other arrangements that also allow relative sliding are also possible. As such, there may be mentioned pins, pads or the like which interact with corresponding grooves. Moreover, it is possible to arrange the formations allowing the sliding, so that the connecting element 7 is inserted from the dial side of the watch case 5.
The ribs 9 allow the connecting element 7 to fit by sliding between the horns of the watch case 5. In doing so, the main axis of the connecting element 7 extends between the horns of the watch case 5.
The connecting element 7 also comprises a housing 11, opening on the lower face of the element 7 in the operating position (see FIGS 3 and 4), and on its face intended to be opposite the 5. A locking lever 13 is positioned in the housing 11 by means of a pin 15 serving as an axis of rotation 8 for the locking lever 13. This pin 15 extends parallel to the axis main element of the connecting element 7, and also carries a return spring 17. The latter is illustrated as a coil spring which surrounds the pin 15 and serves to maintain the locking lever in the locked position. However, other arrangements of elastic return means are also possible, such as springs or elastomeric elements acting on the locking lever 13.
The locking lever 13 is dimensioned to provide a sufficient hooking force and distributed forces on the pin. A sizing of the lock lever as it extends along approximately one quarter to one third of the length of the pin is adequate. The locking lever 13 has a beak-shaped locking lug 19 and extending laterally along the lever 13. The locking lug 19 is shaped to cooperate with a locking surface 21 that has a notch 22 provided in the wall of the watch case 5 located between the horns. In the operating position, the locking pin 19 locks against the locking surface 21 in order to retain the connecting element 7 in place. It is also possible to divide the locking pin 19 into several parts, joined by a bar, rod or the like.

Claims (9)
[1]
In order to actuate the locking lever 13, the latter comprises a plurality of fingers 23 located at each of its ends, which are shaped so as to cooperate with a pusher 25 slidably mounted in the housing 11. Since the fingers 23 are off-center with respect to the pin 15 and extend obliquely with respect to the direction of movement of the pusher, a pressure on the pusher 25 in the direction of the pin 15 pivots the locking lever 13 so that the The locking pin 19 is remote from the locking surface 21 (see Fig. 3) and the connecting element 7 can thus be removed by sliding it downwards according to the orientation of Figs. 3 and 4. It is also possible to implement fingers 23 oriented radially and not parallel to the sliding direction of the pusher 25, the shape of the pusher 25 being adapted accordingly. The pusher 25 is held in the housing by means of a pair of screws or pads 27, whose heads take place in slots 29. These slots 29 extend parallel to the direction of movement of the pusher 25, and their shape guides the translation of the pusher and defines the two extreme positions of the latter. The pusher 25 also serves to close the housing 11 on its face intended to be located next to the wrist or the arm of the wearer, and thus contributes to minimizing the entry of dirt into the housing 11. [0026] 7 is reintroduced between the horns of the watch case, the locking pin 19 is raised in contact with the edge of the box by compressing the return spring 17, is introduced automatically into the notch 22 and s is pressed against the locking surface 21 under the effect of the return spring 17 which relaxes. Although the invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to a particular embodiment, other variants are possible without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the claims. claims
